HOUSE RULES & HOME TRUTHS

Welcome and thank you for choosing Walnut Lodge for your getaway!!

We do promise you a great stay and to ensure that there are no unpleasant surprises later please do review the house rules and some home truths detailed below:

 HOUSE RULES

  • Check-in/ Check-out – Check-in is from 2:00 pm onwards and check-out is by 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated upon request and availability. Guests are required to sign a consent form containing the rules and regulations on check-in.
  • Cancellation Policy – Cancellations must be made 7 days before the scheduled arrival to avoid any charges. There shall be no refund for cancellations made less than 7 days prior to arrival date.
  • Occupancy – The number of guests must not exceed the capacity of the accommodation as specified in your booking. Any additional guests would require prior approval and an extra charge.
  • Pets – As the property is located amidst a forest which houses wild animals which include predators, we do not allow pets in the property to avoid any potential mishap. The property houses a pet dog on its premises for security purposes.
  • Smoking – Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the lodge. A designated outdoor smoking area has been provided. Guests are advised to dispose of the cigarette ends in the ashtrays only. As the property is located in a forest smoking outdoors in areas other than the designated smoking area is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to charge a penalty/ recover costs for damage to the forest area, if any.
  • Damages – Guests are responsible for any damage to the property. Please report any issues immediately to ensure they are addressed promptly.
  • Please respect the property and the surroundings. Noise should be kept to the minimum, especially after 11 pm at night.
  • Liability – We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings. Please avoid leaving personal belongings unattended.

HOME TRUTHS

  • The Walnut Lodge is a standalone property in a fairly secluded area and is situated in a forest on private land.
  • The patch of the road, of about 1 km, leading to the property is motorable, however, not concrete/ paved.
  • Due to the location of the property and the presence of wild animals, guests are advised not to step outside the walled boundary of the Villa.
  • There are CCTV cameras that capture the exterior areas of the property and have been installed for security purposes only.
  • The property is neither wheelchair-friendly nor pet-friendly.
  • Guests do not have access to the kitchen.
  • Mobile networks – Jio, Airtel and BSNL – work fairly well.
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided, and the network is subject to availability at any given time.
  • The caretaker stays within the property and is available till 10:00 pm.
  • The owners stay in another area on the same property to which guests do not have access.
  • No alcohol is served by the Lodge.
  • Children must be supervised while they are in or around the splash pool and forest area.
  • Guests are urged to wear swimming attire in the pool and to shower before entering the pool.
